What is ABE-PANEL?

The consolidated experience in the production and installation of wooden floors has given rise to this 2-layer fir panel ABE-PANEL is designed and manufactured to be used as a support for the construction of 3-layer wood flooring (according to UNI 13489 standard).

It’s format and manufacturing technique make it a panel that can be easily used in multilayer parquet production systems, allowing the creation of very stable floors with exceptional performance.

Why ABE-PANEL?

Unlike normal panels on the market, ABE-PANEL has a 3 mm balancing layer of sawn fir and non-rolled fir, that choice leaves the mechanical characteristics of the wood unaltered. The central structure, 5 – 7 and 9 mm thick (depending on the total thickness – see technical data sheet) is made of radially cut fir so as to guarantee the maximum possible stability.

In fact, according to the anisotropy of wood, the cutting anatomy that ensures cutting stability is the radial one, in which dimensional excursions are reduced to minimum values.

The strips that make up the intermediate layer are supported together and not glued for this reason the movement of each individual strip is independent and not part of a cohesive product like in glued panels.

This characteristic guarantees greater flexibility to the product and a greater capacity to absorb any hygrometric changes.

The finished floor will therefore be very stable and suitable for installation on radiant and cooling screeds even with low inertia, when the thermal stress is maximum.

FLEXIBILITY AND QUALITY

ABE-PANEL guarantees high quality 2 being able to provide high added value to the finished and installed parquet.

The quality of the glues and the method of use allow us to guarantee the maximum level of tear resistance, according to the most recent regulatory standards.

The format of the proposed standard panel is 2440×1240 mm but the company’s know-how allows it to create dimensions upon customer request subject to a minimum ordered quantity (MOQ).

All the wood used to create ABE-PANEL comes from forests in according to the FSC and PEFC forestry system schemes.
